Moon Sling

Moon Sling Privacy Policy

Effective date: 14 October 2026
Developer: Curvy Mechanics · Android app com.curvymechanics.moonsling

This page explains what Moon Sling does with your data. It adds the details for this game to the Curvy Mechanics Privacy Policy, which also applies.

The short version

  • No account, no sign-in, no ads.
  • No analytics or crash-reporting tools. The game’s own code sends nothing over the internet, and we receive no data from it.
  • Your progress, settings and a note that you bought the Full Game are saved on your device only, and may be included in your Android backup if you have it turned on.
  • The Full Game purchase is handled by Google Play. The game never sees your card or payment details.
  • Google’s Play Billing Library, included for the purchase, may send its own diagnostic information to Google.

What the game saves on your device

This is kept in the game’s private storage on your device and is used only to run the game. It is not sent to us or to anyone else by the game.

Android backup

Moon Sling allows Android to back up that one saved file. If Android’s backup is turned on for your device, the file may be copied into your Google account’s backup and restored after a reinstall or on a new phone, including during a phone-to-phone transfer. Google holds the backup; we cannot see it. You can turn backup on or off in your device settings.

The Full Game purchase

Moon Sling sells one optional one-time item, the Full Game, through Google Play.

Google Play Billing Library

To make the purchase work, Moon Sling includes Google’s Play Billing Library. The library talks to the Google Play Store app on your device. It also contains Google components that may send the library’s own diagnostic information to Google over the internet. That information goes to Google, not to us, and is handled under Google’s privacy policy.

Permissions

Moon Sling does not ask you to grant any permission while you play. The app declares these, all for the purchase:

PermissionWhy
Google Play billing
com.android.vending.BILLING
Lets the game talk to the Google Play Store app to sell the Full Game. Added by Google’s Play Billing Library.
Full network access
android.permission.INTERNET
Used by Google components inside the Play Billing Library to send the library’s own diagnostic information to Google. The game’s own code does not use the internet.
View network connections
android.permission.ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE
Used by the same Google components to send only when there is a connection, and by the game to check whether the phone is online before it trusts an answer from the store.

The app also contains one internal permission added by Android’s support library, which only keeps the app’s own internal messages private. It gives no access to your data. Moon Sling does not ask for your location, contacts, files, camera, microphone or advertising ID.

What Moon Sling does not do

Deleting your data

Uninstalling Moon Sling, or clearing its storage in your device’s Android settings, deletes its saved data from the device. Backup copies are managed in your Google account. Clearing the game’s data does not cancel your purchase: the Full Game stays with your Google account and the game restores it the next time it checks with Google Play.

Children

Moon Sling is not designed for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children; the game does not collect personal data from anyone.

Changes

If a version of Moon Sling changes what data it handles, we will update this page and its effective date. Questions: curvymechanics.support@gmail.com.
